16) Privacy and cookies

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy and cookie policy published on the Site, which forms an integral part of these Terms. For requests on this subject: info@essenzadipisa.com.

17) Changes to these Terms

The Seller may update these Terms. The version applicable to each Order is the one in force at the time the Order is submitted. Updates are published on the Site together with the date of the last update.

18) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

For disputes with Consumers, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the court of the place where the Consumer is resident or has elected domicile, where located within Italy, this being a mandatory rule of jurisdiction under Article 33(2)(u) of the Italian Consumer Code. Any more protective rules of the EU country in which the Consumer resides remain unaffected.

In relations with Business Customers, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Pisa, Italy.

19) Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

The Seller invites Customers to report any problem by writing to info@essenzadipisa.com: most complaints are resolved directly and quickly.

Pursuant to Article 141-sexies of the Italian Consumer Code, the Seller declares that it does not adhere to any ADR entity and is not required to do so. Consumers nevertheless remain free to turn, as an alternative to the courts, to:

  • the ADR entities listed in the register kept by the Italian Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy;
  • the mediation bodies established at the Chambers of Commerce;
  • the joint conciliation procedures promoted by consumer associations;
  • the European Consumer Centre Italy (ecc-netitalia.it), for cross-border disputes with sellers in other EU countries.

The European ODR platform for the online resolution of disputes ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
